Rev. Alan Pritz, a disciple of Paramhansa Yogananda and Interfaith Minister, will teach an Introductory / Intermediate Meditation Workshop informed by the Kriya Yoga tradition which Yogananda brought to the west and made popular in his famous book, Autobiography of a Yogi.
This training provides detailed understanding of what meditation is from a spiritual perspective, how it works from a scientific one, and why incorporating it into daily life is so relevant. This is an excellent training for any who wish to learn more about meditation from a yogic perspective and as a means for spiritual growth. The universal principles discussed can enhance whatever faith practice participants hold to and are intended to deepen ones inner, direct experience of the Divine regardless of religious affiliation.
– Classic Yoga Principles of Patanjali
– Lifestyle & Practice Guidelines
– A Concentration Technique
– Meditation on Inner Sound
Note: The formal Kriya Yoga technique is not taught in this workshop.
